Our logs are available to buy in the local shops.
We also keep a supply in the porch at the Woods Yard office for your convenience.
Cash payments can be left in the post box, or you can use the QR code on the office door to pay online.
Clean, dry cardboard (free from tape) can be left in the bins outside Unit 2.
Please do not leave any other items in these bins.
Our Cardboard Processing Officer works on Tuesdays and Thursdays, fitting this around community bus bookings.
If you have a larger load of cardboard to drop off, or would like to speak with him directly,
please call Neil on 07398 627742
or Email Neil@StronsayDevelopmentTrust.com
to arrange a suitable time.

🚫Tetra Pak® Recycling
Please note that we’re unable to recycle Tetra Pak® cartons or similar drinks packaging in our cardboard briquette machine. The cartons are typically made up of 70% paperboard, 25% plastic and 5% aluminium.
As of March 2025, Orkney Islands Council no longer accepts Tetra Pak® for recycling due to “the high costs incurred.”
